(ORAL) In the instant criminal writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to official respondents No. 2 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of petitioner at the hands of respondent No. 5, who used criminal force with intent to outrage the modesty of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose of instant writ petition would be achieved, if, respondent No. 3-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali, is directed to decide representation dated 23.09.2019 (Annexure P-3), moved by the petitioner.
