(Oral) Challenge in the present revision petition filed by the petitionerwife is to order dated 22.01.2020 passed by the Court of learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Rohtak whereby the petitioner has been granted final maintenance of Rs.7000/- per month.
By way of the present revision petition, the petitioner-wife had sought enhancement of the said amount.
Learned counsel appearing for the respondent has filed his Vakalatnama in Court today. The same is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing of the present petition, the parties have been granted divorce in a petition filed by them under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, vide decree dated 02.11.2022 passed by the learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Rohtak; whereby payment of Rs.12,00,000/- has been made by the respondenthusband to the petitioner-wife towards full and final settlement on account of past, present and future maintenance of the petitioner. CRR(F)-290-2020 [2] certified copy of said order/decree dated 02.11.2022 in Court today. The same is taken on record. Learned counsel submits that in the circumstances, no further directions are required in the present petition and the same may be disposed of as such.
Learned counsel for the respondent does not dispute the same. In the light of the position as noted above as well as the statement of learned counsel for the parties, the present revision petition is disposed of as no further directions are required in the instant petition.
