The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of award dated 31.12.1998 (Annexure P-3) whereby Industrial Tribunal has rejected its claim. 2.

The petitioner is a workers Union which served demand notice. It was claiming pay at par with Punjab Government employees, allotment of accommodation, conveyance allowance and Winter uniform once in a year with stitching charges. The matter was referred to Industrial Tribunal which by impugned award has rejected claim of the Union. The respondent-Punjab Cooperative Spinning Mills stands closed.
