**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J (ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 146 dated 26.5.2009, registered under Sections 323, 452, 354, 356, 380, 148, 149 IPC, Police Station City Kapurthala.

Counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner has failed to surrender.

There was a direction by the Co-ordinate Bench on 30.5.2016 that the petitioner would surrender before the trial Court and if he surrenders within a period of two weeks, he would be released on interim bail. The order was made subject to deposit of Rs. 30,000/- with the trial Court. Petitioner has failed to surrender before the trial Court nor has deposited the amount.

Petition is dismissed.
