HARSH BUNGER, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition, filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, is for quashing of Criminal Complaint No.NACT/519/2022 dated 08.06.2022 (Annexure P-1), registered under Sections 138, 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ferozepur, as well as summoning order dated 12.07.2022 (Annexure P-2), whereby, the petitioner has been summoned to face trial for offence under Sections 138 and 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition at this stage. In view of the above submission, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
