SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 5 to 10, parents and relatives of the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 20.05.2015 (Annexure P-5) made by petitioner No.1. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Gursharandeep Kaur is 24.03.1991 as per copy of her Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2Jaspreet Singh is 08.08.1986 as per copy of his Driving Licence (Annexure P-2). They got married on 19.05.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-3 and P-4.

CRM-M-18054-2015 -2marriage of petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to look into the representation dated 20.05.2015 (Annexure P-5) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of certified copy of this order along with representation in his office.
