This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to official respondents protect life and liberty of petitioners from the hands of private respondents as petitioners have solemnized marriage against their wishes and consent.

The petitioners moved representation dated May 25, 2015 (Annexure P-6) to respondent No.2 and 3 for getting the needful done but no action has been taken so far.

The present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Superintendent of Police, Barnala, to look into the grievances of petitioners unfolded by them in their representation dated May 25, 2015 (Annexure P-6) and if found necessary, take appropriate measures in accordance with law.
