Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 95 dated 18.06.2019 registered under Sections 15, 21 and 22/61 of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Nathu Sarai Chopta, District Sirsa. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has been in custody since 18.06.2019 and evidence is yet to start in the present case and the alleged recovery does not fall under commercial quantity. He further states that there are two other cases pending against the petitioner, in which he is on bail.

 Learned State counsel points out that charges were framed on 11.10.2019, two more cases under Arms Act are pending against the petitioner. Next date in the present case is 30.07.2020. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. The petitioner has been in custody since 18.06.2019, ,the trial will take time to conclude and no useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioner behind the bars.
