SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 and 5, parents of petitioner No.1.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 25.05.2015 (Annexure P-5) made by the petitioners. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Mandeep Kaur is 05.10.1987 as per copy of Passport issued to her (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Gurpreet Singh is 02.06.1986 as per copy of Passport(Annexure P-2). They got married on 25.05.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-4.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to SACHIN MEHTA 2015.05.28 17:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-18076-2015 -2respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar to look into the representation dated 25.05.2015 (Annexure P-5) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of certified copy of this order along with representation in his office.
