Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for directing the respondents to issue posting orders to petitioner as have been issued to all other selected candidates in respect of the post of Assistant Professor (Sociology) in General Category, which were advertised vide Advt. No. 15/2021, dated 19.10.2021. This Court while allowing CWP No. 22446 of 2021, titled as "Harmesh Singh and others Versus State of Punjab and others & other connected matters" vide order of even date; has quashed the Memo. dated 18.10.2021, Public Notice dated 19.10.2021 as well as 33 Advertisements (No.1/2021 to 33/2021) alongwith entire consequential selection process, therefore, nothing survives for adjudication on merits.
