(ORAL) The petitioner, in the instant petition, under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, has sought quashing of FIR No.178 dated 19.7.2015 registered under sections 341/323 and 379 IPC at Police Station Jandiala District Amritsar on the basis of compromise dated 11.3.2016 (Annexure P-2) entered into between the parties. In compliance of order dated 17.12.2016 passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court, report from the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Amritsar, vide forwarding letter no.08 dated 31.1.2017, has been received. According to the report submitted by the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Amritsar, compromise arrived at between the parties is without any fear or pressure and out of their free will.

CRM-M-19056-2016 2 In view of the above report and compromise by way of affidavit, dated 11.3.2016 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties, the instant petition is allowed. Consequently, FIR No.178 dated 19.7.2015 registered under sections 341/323 and 379 IPC at Police Station Jandiala, District Amritsar, is quashed qua the petitioner only. 31.7.2017 ( RAMENDRA JAIN ) VK JUDGE 1.
