SABINA, J Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.39, Dated 17.03.2010, under Sections 420, 447, 427, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC' for short), registered at Police Station Sadar Gurdaspur and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise.

Learned State counsel who is assisted by Head constable Sandhir Kumar has submitted that this petition has been rendered infructuous as cancellation report submitted by the investigating agency has been accepted by the Magistrate. Ordered accordingly.
