(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.146 dated 14.08.2017 under Sections 498-A, 323, 406, 506, 377 IPC registered at Police Station Qilla Panipat, District Panipat.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to order dated 17.01.2020, the parties have appeared before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre and the matter has been settled between the parties and ASHWANI KUMAR 2020.02.25 17:58 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
Criminal Misc. No. M-1925 of 2018 -2accordingly, a settlement/agreement dated 28.01.2020 has been reduced into writing.
This fact has not been disputed by counsel for respondent no.2.
I have heard learned counsel for the parties. In view of settlement/compromise dated 28.01.2020 so arrived between the parties, the order dated 17.09.2019, whereby ad-interim bail was granted to the petitioner, is hereby made absolute. However, the parties shall adhere to the terms of the settlement/compromise in letter and spirit. The petition is disposed of.
