Seeking a writ under Article 226 of Constitution of India, the petitioner, who is husband of respondent No. 5, has prayed for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect his life and liberty at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 7.

Grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No. 5 has been giving morphine to their daughter, namely, Gurleen Kaur, in connivance with one chemist. In this regard, he has submitted a representation dated 19.02.2022 (Annexure P1) addressed amongst others to respondent No. 3Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar Rural. Learned State counsel submits that the complaint of the petitioner has been marked to the DSP, CAW, Amritsar, Rural and the same is being inquired into.

In view thereof, no further directions is required to be issued. Disposed of as such.
