**** HARI PAL VERMA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for issuance of direction to the respondents to complete the investigation in FIR No. 68 dated 2.5.2015, registered under Section 406 of the Indian Penal Code, Police Station Kulgari, District Ferozepur.
Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Lakhwinder Singh states that in the aforesaid FIR, the police has already completed the investigation and has submitted a cancellation report. I have heard learned counsel for the parties. Considering the fact that the police has already submitted a cancellation report, the prayer as made in the present petition no more survives.
