The learned counsel representing the petitioners, after arguing for some time and upon realizing that the petitioners have failed to submit an appropriate application under Section 3-H(4) of the National Highways Act, 1956 (hereinafter referred to as "the 1956 Act"), prays for permission to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file an application before the competent authority for land acquisition under the 1956 Act. 2.
