Convicts, namely, Vijay Kumar @ Bunty, and, Shanty @ Haveli, sons of Bahadur Chand, upon conclusion of trial as arose from FIR No. 190 dated 20.11.2016, registered at Police Station Division No. 5, Jalandhar, became convicted by the learned trial Judge concerned. In consequence thereof, the above convicts became sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for six years. During the pendency of their judicial incarceration, they moved an application for theirs being granted the facility of parole. However, since neither the afore application became considered, nor any order hence accepting it or rejecting, has been rendered thereon by the competent authority. Therefore, the above convicts, through their mother, have moved the instant petition, before this Court, for making a direction upon the authorities concerned, to make an expeditious decision, upon the application concerned.
