******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The petitioner has sought quashing of FIR No. 146 dated 17.05.2014 for offence punishable under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code registered at Police Station Civil Lines, District Amritsar on the basis of compromise.

It is submitted that the matter has been settled with the complainant vide compromise, copy of which has been placed on file as Annexure P-2 and the offence is compoundable. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to avail the other legal remedies available to the petitioner before the trial Court.
