Fateh Deep Singh, J. (Oral) Mr. Vikram Jeet Duggal, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar-Rural has appeared and apologizes for the lapse that has occurred and has promised for redressal of the same and has filed status report.

In the light of the stand of the State, the police has already filed cancellation report on 22.8.2019 before the concerned court. Thus, nothing survives in the present petition and is disposed of as such.
