M.M.S. BEDI, J. (ORAL) Petitioner in the capacity as J.E. working for the Municipal Council had approved the work of the Contractors which was not as per the prescribed specifications. The co-accused of the petitioner have been granted the concession of pre-arrest bail. The petitioner is also facing departmental proceedings for his alleged misconduct. He has joined investigation.

In view of co-accused of the petitioner having been granted the concession of pre-arrest bail and the petitioner having already joined investigation, this petition is allowed. It is ordered that in case of arrest of the petitioner, he shall be released on bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer subject to the conditions that he will join investigation as and when required and will not tamper with the evidence or hamper investigation, in any manner.
