The petitioners have approached this Court seeking quashing of FIR No.157 dated 1.12.2019, Police Station Munak, District Sangrur under Sections 420, 406, 506, 120-B of Indian Penal Code and all subsequent proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of a compromise effected between the parties.

Vide order dated 26.3.2021, the parties had been directed to appear before the Trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate so as to get their statements recorded qua the factum of compromise.

Report of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Moonak, Sangrur (Punjab) has been received, wherein it has been reported that statements of petitioners/accused Mukesh Kumar @ Mukesh Goyal, Ramesh Kumar @ Ramesh Goyal, Balvinder Goyal @ Balvinder Singh and also of respondent PANKAJ KAKKAR 2022.03.25 16:58 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

( 2 ) CRM-M-14161-2021 (O&M) No.2 Chanderdeep have been recorded to the effect that they have compromised the matter amongst themselves. It has also been reported that there is another accused namely Nohar Chand, who had expired on 16.10.2020.

Respondents No.2 Chanderdeep in his statement has stated that he has no objection in case the FIR in question is quashed. 5.

Learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Moonak, Sangrur (Punjab) has specifically opined that the parties have entered into compromise voluntarily without there being any pressure, coercion or undue influence. 6.

In view of the aforesaid compromise and bearing in mind the law laid down by Full Bench of this Court in 2007(3) RCR (Crl.) 1052 Kulwinder Singh and others Vs.
