(ORAL) This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.173 dated 14.10.2021, registered at Police Station Bullowal, District Hoshiarpur, under Sections 295-A, 506 & 34 IPC (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 14.03.2023, report dated 21.04.2023 has been received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Hoshiarpur, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them with their free will, without any pressure or coercion.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.173 dated 14.10.2021, registered at Police Station Bullowal, District Hoshiarpur, under Sections 295-A, 506 & 34 IPC (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner.
