!"#$  The present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of the impugned order/letter dated 03.01.2024 passed by the department whereby the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment was rejected. 2.

As is evident from the case file, the claim of the petitioner was declined on the ground that she had become overage, being 45 years of age and a civil suit has been filed by the petitioner seeking correction of her date of birth in the Class 10th certificate, which is pending. In view of the same, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, prays for withdrawal of the instant petition at this stage.
