The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to release outstanding dues of Rs.47,76,624/- with respect to work carried out by it for respondent.

The petitioner is a Government contractor and claiming that it carried out different works for respondent. The respondent generated online token underscoring total payment of Rs.1,71,09,033/-. The respondent has released payment of Rs.1,23,32,409/-, however, remaining payment is still outstanding.

Learned State counsel submits that payment relates to different divisions. The respondent No.2 would consider petitioner's claim and admitted liability would be released within three months from today.
