This is a petition under section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 148 dated 04.10.2014 registered under sections 307, 382, 506, 148 & 149 IPC at police station City Malout, district Sri Muktsar Sahib on the basis of compromise. Learned State counsel, on instructions from H.C. Jasvir Singh, who is present in court, at the outset submits that a cancellation report has been prepared in this case and is likely to be submitted before the competent court shortly. In view of aforesaid statement, no further direction from this court is necessary. Disposed of.

If still aggrieved, petitioner shall be at liberty to avail the remedy under the law.
