(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in case, FIR No.98 dated 31.10.2018, registered under Sections 323, 326, 326-A, 506 and 148 IPC, Police Station Begowal, District Kapurthala. According to the prosecution, on 31.10.2018, petitioner threw acid upon the complainant at the behest of Paramjit Singh. Earlier to it, petitioner had threatened the complainant to disfigure his face. Learned counsel contends that petitioner has falsely been implicated by the complainant having grouse of his working at the dairy owned by one Paramjit Singh adjacent to the dairy of the complainant.
Earlier, the complainant had threatened the daughter of the petitioner. In fact, complainant threw acid upon the petitioner, on account of which, his one hand got severely burnt. The same has been declared grievous in nature by the medical officer. Complainant being a influential person to save himself has falsely got SONIKA 2019.03.
CRM-M-10953 of 2019 --2-- registered the FIR in question against the petitioner. Considering the seriousness of allegations against the petitioner that he threw acid upon the complainant, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.
Dismissed.
