***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J .(Oral) This petition has been filed on behalf of four accusedpetitioners seeking quashing of FIR No.18 dated 3.2.2014 registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Sirhind, District Fatehgarh Sahib on the ground that the matter has since been compromised amongst the parties. Shri Rajat Garg, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No. 2 - complainant namely Surinder Singh and has filed vakalatnama, which is taken on record. Surinder Singh is also present in person. The learned counsel for respondent No.2- Surinder Singh has stated at the bar that the complainant does not wish to compromise the matter. CRM-M-19493-2016 (O&M) - 2complainant. Upon enquiry made by this Court from Surinder Singh, he has point blank stated that he wishes to pursue with the FIR and does not wish that the same be quashed.
In view of the aforesaid position where the complainant has categorically stated that he does not wish to compromise and he wishes to pursue with the FIR, there is no ground for quashing of the FIR on the basis of alleged compromise.
