Instant petition has been filed by the petitioner - Akbar Mohd. (complaint in FIR), for seeking protection to the lives and liberty of petitioner himself and his family, at the hands of private respondents No.5 to 16.

Learned State counsel informs that after registration of the case i.e. FIR No.131, dated 12.12.2024, against the private persons under Sections 115(2), 191(3), 190, 351(2), 333 of BNS, 2023, some of the accused have been released on anticipatory bail by this Court vide order of even date (i.e. today itself).

Further submits that after completion of investigation, final report shall be submitted before the concerned Court. 3.

Considering the contention, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent state to complete the investigation, expeditiously, and then file its final report also. It is also observed that in case there is any such threat at the instance of the private respondents, then by citing the instance, cancellation of bail can be sought either by the petitioner or by the State also. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
