******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.136 dated 22.09.2014 registered for offences punishable under Sections 21 and 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Valtoha, District Tarn Taran.

Heard.

The petitioner was earlier on bail and had absented on 24.10.2016 and surrendered before the trial Court on 29.11.2016. She was allowed regular bail on 27.03.2017. She again absented on 19.12.2017 and surrendered on 13.09.2018.

As per report of the trial Court, 02 prosecution witnesses have been examined so far.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the case and keeping in view the period of custody of petitioner and the fact that prosecution has not been able to conclude its evidence so far, and JITENDER KUMAR 2019.09.17 16:46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-10640 of 2019 -2conclusion of trial will take considerably long time, the present petition is allowed. Petitioner-Amandeep Kaur @ Pinky @ Aman is ordered to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond and surety bond to the satisfaction of concerned trial Court/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, subject to following terms:- (a) The petitioner shall comply with the conditions mentioned in Section 437(3) Cr.P.C.

(b) In the event of her absence on any date of hearing, the benefit of bail allowed to the petitioner shall stand withdrawn. The trial Court shall be competent to cancel her bail bond and surety bond and proceed to procure her presence in accordance with law. In that eventuality the petitioner shall have to apply for bail afresh. (c) She shall not leave the country without the previous permission of the Court.
