This is an application filed under Section 151 CPC read with Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, for restoration of the case and recalling of order dated 09.03.2026.

For the reasons stated in the application which is duly supported by an affidavit, the present application is allowed and order dated 09.03.2026 is recalled and the main case is restored to its original number and is taken on Board today itself for final disposal.

Main case 1.

Learned counsel for the respondents-State has submitted that the order has been duly complied with and the petitioner has been promoted to the post of Assistant Excise and Taxation Officer vide order dated 25.05.2026. A copy of the said order dated 25.05.2026 has been handed over to this Court during the course of arguments which is taken on record and marked as Mark "A" and a copy of the same has also been given to learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in view of the same, the present contempt petition has been rendered infructuous and the same may kindly be disposed of as such.
