The petitioners seek quashing of FIR on the basis of the matter having been compromised. On the last date of hearing i.e. on 9.5.2018, the parties had been directed to appear before the trial Court for the purpose of getting their statements recorded as regards the genuineness of compromise.
Report of JMIC, Kapurthala has been received wherein it has been reported that the statements of the parties have been recorded and that the factum of compromise is not disputed and that the compromise seems to have been effected amicably and appears to be genuine compromise.
