Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sukhwinder Singh, from Police Station Lambi, District Shri Muktsar Sahib, states that the prosecution has since closed its evidence and now the case is fixed for 30.3.2018, for recording the statements of the accused under Section 313 Cr.P.C.. It being so, the trial is likely to be concluded in the near future.

Faced with such situation, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he be permitted to withdraw the present petition. Allowed. Dismissed as withdrawn.
