-.- KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case having FIR No.26 dated 18.2.2022 registered under Sections 306, 120-B IPC at Police Station City District Rup Nagar.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined investigation with the police and further now the police has filed cancellation report in the present case.

( 2 ) CRM-M-12995-2022 The counsel appearing on behalf of the complainant has also admitted that the cancellation report filed by the police is pending before the Court concerned.

The State counsel on instructions from ASI Suresh Kumar has not refuted the assertions made by the counsel for the petitioner and further submits that the petitioner who has joined the investigation are not required by the police for any purpose as the police has filed cancellation report in the present case.

Admittedly the cancellation report filed by the police has not been finally disposed of by the Court concerned. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby allowed and order of interim bail dated 29.3.2022 is hereby made absolute.
