This is the second petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.58 dated 23.08.2016, under Sections 498-A, 406 of Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station City-2 Malerkotla, District Sangrur. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the parties in the meantime, have entered into a compromise and have also preferred a petition for quashing of the aforesaid FIR on that basis, which is registered as CRM-M-20617-2018 titled as "Mohd. CRM-M-19604-2018 -2At this stage, Mr. Puneet Pali, Advocate puts in appearance on behalf of complainant-respondent No.2 and files the power of attorney, which is taken on record and admits to the factum of the compromise and has no objection in case, anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioner.

In the meantime, proceedings under the FIR are stayed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and further the parties have compromised the matter.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State confirms the factum of joining investigation by the petitioner.

Since the petitioner has joined the investigation, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 17.05.2018 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
