Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., the petitioners seek issuance of directions upon the official respondents No.2 to 4, to arrest the accused/respondents No.6 to 11, in case FIR No.98 dated 26.05.2013, under Sections 365, 342, 323, 148, 149 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Sadar Amritsar, District Amritsar City. 2.

Neither on the last date of hearing, i.e. 12.02.2024, nor today, anyone has caused representation on behalf of the petitioners. 3.

Nonetheless, the learned State counsel has, on instructions imparted to him by A.S.I. Gurcharan Singh, informed this Court that though a Cancellation Report has already been prepared in the FIR (supra), however, owing to administrative exigencies, the same could not be presented before the learned Illaqa Magistrate/trial Court concerned for making an appropriate decision thereon. However, on instructions from the official concerned, he has assured this Court that, within 15 days from today, the Cancellation Report so prepared will be positively presented DEVINDER YADAV 2024.03.07 17:42 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
