This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 90 dated 14.11.2013 under Sections 498-A IPC at Police Station Women Cell, Jalandhar City. Learned counsel for the State (on instructions from SI Avtar Singh, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated May 28, 2014, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated May 28, 2015 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
