This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.14 dated 22.01.2013 under Sections 341/354/294/506/509 IPC and Sections 66A/67 of the Information Technology Act registered at Police Station Cantonment, Amritsar as well as subsequent proceedings.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has raised a number of arguments in support of this petition. However, during the course of arguments, it is revealed that the petitioner's application for discharge is pending before the learned trial court. This fact is not disputed by Mr.Harbhajan Singh Sran, learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner in this view of the matter seeks to withdraw this petition at this stage with liberty to take all these pleas before the learned trial court.
