**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J (ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 144 dated 7.12.2015, registered under Sections 304-B, 34 IPC, Police Station Mehtiana, District Hoshiarpur. Mr. Kapil Khanna, Advocate puts in appearance on behalf of respondent No. 2 and has filed the power of attorney. Vide order dated 1.6.2016, the petitioner was directed to join the investigation. She has joined the investigation. The petitioner is the Jethani against whom the allegations had been levelled by the complainant. The deceased was taken by her parents on 25.11.2015 and she had died on 7.12.2015. The medical certificate issued by Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana shows that the deceased was operated for PCOM Gurpreet Singh Bhatia 2016.08.24 12:17 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

Crl. Misc. No. M-19674 of 2016 -2Aneurysm. The record reveals that surgery was advised. Custodial interrogation is not necessary. There is no allegation that the petitioner would abscond.

Looking to the circumstances, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed and order dated 1.6.2016 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 Sub Section 2 Clauses (i)(ii) and (iii) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
