(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 04 dated 20.03.2018 under Sections 406 & 498-A IPC, registered at Police Station, Women, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the matter has been settled amicably before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and the parties have decided to resume cohabitation. A settlement/ compromise has been reduced into writing which is annexed with the petition.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State confirms the factum of compromise.
