Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Harnek Singh submits that after investigation police has prepared the challan in case bearing FIR No. 4 dated 03.01.2016, registered at Police Station C-Division, Amritsar for offences punishable under Sections 309 and 306 IPC. Certain objections have been raised, which are being removed. The challan will be filed immediately on clearance of objections. In view of submission of learned State counsel, the instant petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to approach this Court again in case his grievance regarding non-filing of challan persists after expiry of six months.
