This is a petition filed under section 439 Cr.P.C. with a prayer for release of the petitioner on bail in a case registered vide F.I.R. No.64 dated 13.4.2015 under Sections 376/34/506 I.P.C. at Police Station Jamalpur, Ludhiana. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the F.I.R. would not reveal the constitution of any offence against the petitioner. Cr.M.No.M-18812 of 2015 -2petitioner has a relationship. Challan has already been submitted and therefore, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the petitioner in jail. On due consideration of the matter and noticing the fact that the petitioner in custody since April, 2015 and challan has already been submitted and no useful purpose would be served by keeping the petitioner in jail particualrly when the trial is likely to take some time and also noticing that the allegations are against the main accused Krishan Lal and not the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to accept the petition and release the petitioner on bail to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
