NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is for transferof investigation of case FIR No. 156 dated 15.10.2021 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 323, 342 and 354B read with Section 34 IPC at Police Station Kartarpur, District Jalandhar (Rural) to some higher officers, as the police officials are putting pressure upon the petitioner to compromise the matter with the accused.

On instructions from ASI Narinder Singh, learned counsel for the State submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous, in view of the fact that after completion of investigation, challan in the present case already stands presented before the learned Area Magistrate. She further informs that a cross-case was also registered by the accused persons in the present FIR against the petitioner/complainant side, vide DDR No. 37 dated 25.10.2021 under RISHU KATARIA 2024.08.21 11:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

CRM-M-12577-2023 -2Sections 323, 341 and 295 read with Section 34 IPC, wherein also after completion of investigation challan has been presented before the learned Area Magistrate.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the aforesaid submissions of learned counsel for the State and submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of, as such.
