***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J. (Oral) During the course of arguments, learned State counsel informed that as on date 9 out of cited 14 PWs have already been examined. Faced with the aforestated position, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition at this stage and has submited that the trial Court may be directed to expedite the trial.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.

The prosecution is directed to ensure the presence of the remaining PWs on the dates as may be fixed by the trial Court for recording their statements.
