This order shall dispose of CRWP-2342-2023, CRWP-23402023, CRWP-2344-2023, CRWP-2356-2023, CRWP-2358-2023 and CRWP2359-2023, as the issue involved in all the cases is identical. However, the lead case is CRWP-2342-2023.

Order dated 14.03.2023, says as under:- "CRWP-2342-2023 Aforementioned petition has been filed by petitioner for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus to direct Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna, District Ludhiana (respondent No.2) and Station House Officer, Police Station Payal, District Ludhiana (respondent No.3) to protect his life and liberty and of the family members.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was working in the company namely M/s. Longowalia Yarns Ltd. of which respondent no.4-Sanjay Garg is Managing Director and respondent No.5- Sunil Tiyagi is in Human Resources Department and respondent No.6- Balwinder is cashier . On 04.03.2023, petitioner was detained illegally by the private respondents and thereafter by applying muscle power took him to the bank and by issuing threats, withdrew an amount of Rs.14.5 lakhs from the account of petitioner-Taranpreet Singh.

Counsel further submits that private respondents are giving constant threats to the petitioner in regard to his life, therefore, he has approached to this Court.

Notice of motion for 24.03.2023.

- 3 - On asking of Court, Mr. Anmol Singh Sandhu, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3(State), and seeks time to file status report after verifying the alleged facts.

Adjourned to 24.03.2023, to be heard along with CRWP-2342- 2023."

Learned counsel for the petitioner(s) states that in pursuance to the due efforts made by all the parties, all the disputes have been amicably resolved by way of writing of compromise deed-dated 30.05.2023. One set of such compromise-deed has been filed by learned counsel in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Office to tag the same at appropriate place.

In the backdrop of the fact that all the disputes have already been resolved between the petitioner(s) and the respondent(s), learned counsel for the petitioner(s) seeks withdrawal of present petition(s). 4.

Learned counsel for the respondents acknowledges the factum of compromise and also pleads no objection to the withdrawal of present petition(s).

Dismissed as withdrawn.
