(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, quashing the punishment order dated 06.05.1998 (Annexure P-4), appellate order dated 09.09.1998 (Annexure P-6) and revisional order dated 24.03.1999 (Annexure P-7). No one appeared on behalf of the petitioner on the last date of hearing, therefore, notice was ordered to be issued to the petitioner. As per office report, notice issued to the petitioner has been received back with the report that he has retired from service on 31.08.2009.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. In this view of the matter, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
