AMOL RATTAN SINGH, J (ORAL) In respect of the grievance of the petitioners qua alleged threat to them at the hands of respondent Nos.5 to 8, they are stated to have made a representation to the D.G.P, Punjab and the S.H.O, Police Station Ghall Khurd, District Ferozepur, copies of which have been annexed as Annexures P.1 and P.2 respectively with this petition.

Though no representation is shown to have been made to the SSP, Ferozepur, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Sr. Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur-respondent No.3 to call for the representation from the SHO, P.S Ghall Khurd and take action, as per law, on the merits of the allegations of the petitioner after going into them, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation whatsoever with regard to the correctness or otherwise of the allegations made, which will be gone into by the SSP.
