It is not in dispute that the land in question is a forest land. In the present writ petition, the State Government has produced the order dated 27.09.2011 passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Patiala, while exercising the powers of Commissioner, Patiala Division, Patiala. In these proceedings, the various unauthorized occupants were ordered to be evicted from the land in dispute. The learned counsel representing the petitioners do not dispute that the aforesaid order is with respect to the land in question. However, he submits that the petitioners were never dispossessed. 2.

In the revenue record, they are recorded to be the unauthorized occupants. Therefore, no ground to issue the writ of certiorari is made out. Consequently, the present writ petition is dismissed. (Anil Kshetarpal) Judge March 21, 2022 "DK"
