ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned result dated 04.02.2022 (Annexure P-8) qua EWS category as well as General category i.e. unreserved category for the post of Veterinary Livestock Development Assistant (VLDA). Her roll number has not been mentioned among the successful candidates, despite her claim of being eligible and scoring more than the last selected candidate under the EWS category. She claims that her marks are equal to even the last selected candidate under the General category.

On advance service of copy of the petition, learned State counsel appears and under instructions of Legal Assistant-Ramnesh, submits that the petitioner has indeed obtained 64 marks in the written examination and has also been awarded additional 05 marks under the Socio-Economic criteria. Thus, making her aggregate marks as 69. On court query, it GURPREET KAUR 2022.04.01 09:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

transpires that the candidates having lesser aggregate marks i.e. 68 have been shown in the waiting list.

In the premise, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to accord the petitioner benefit of her performance and revise the waiting list in accordance thereof, within a period of 30 days from today.
