The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to re-issue him passport.

Ms. Sehej Sandhawalia, Central Government Counsel, who on advance notice is present in Court, at the outset, submits that petitioner vide communication dated 01.02.2024 was asked to supply correct information with respect to his previous passports. He may be directed to appear before passport authority alongwith correct information. If he does so, passport authority would pass an appropriate order within six weeks thereafter. 3.

Counsel for the petitioner agrees to the aforesaid arrangement. 4.
