The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 read with Article 227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents No. 1 and 2 to issue her passport. 2.

Mr. Amit Dhawan, Advocate, inter alia contends that petitioner applied for passport on 01.09.2023 still her application is pending. She has no criminal antecedents.

Mr. Ashutosh Dhankar, Advocate, at the outset, submits that petitioner is already possessing passport, thus, fresh passport cannot be issued.

Faced with this, Mr. Amit Dhawan, Advocate, submits that he is unaware of passport claimed to be issued by respondents, thus, they may be directed to supply him details of the passport. 5.

Mr. Ashutosh Dhankar, Advocate, submits that competent authority would supply details of the passport to the petitioner within two weeks from today.

In the wake of statement of counsel for Union of India, the petition stands disposed of.
